  • What should I wear?
    Please make sure you check the weather, some of our locations can be quite chilly in cooler months. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes / trainers due to some of our locations having uneven flooring.
  • Will I experience paranormal activity?
    Our team will try their best to produce as much activity as possible. However we cannot control the minds / actions of the spirits who reside at our locations and sometimes they can be a little shy. We recommend bringing as much energy as possible as the spirits also like a laugh too!
  • Is there anything to eat or drink?
    For each event, we provide light refreshments including; Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Biscuits, Crisps, Sweets, Cakes & Chocolate. If you have any dietary requirements, please bring your own refreshments. Please bring your own cold drinks. Please note, Alcohol isn't permitted at our events.
  • Can I use my own equipment?
    Of course! You are more than welcome to bring your own equipment to investigate. If you don't own any equipment then don't worry! Our team will be able to provide equipment during vigils which you can also borrow during own time.
  • Is there parking on site?
    Not all of our locations have parking on site. Please make sure you read your order conformation for information regarding this. You can find address locations on your order conformation and also on our website. Pease make sure you plan your parking arrangements if we are unable to provide this at your event location.
  • Do I need to bring anything with me?
    All you need to bring is yourself, your tickets & a torch (or you can use the torch on your phone). If your event is a sleepover we recommend bringing the following; Airbed, sleeping bag, pillow, blankets & anything else you may need for a nights sleep.... or not?
  • Do your events have disability access?
    Majority of our locations are accessible for clients with mobility issues. However, due to the historic nature they may not be wheelchair accessible. At Afterlife and Spooky Events, we value all our customers and aim to make as many of our events as accessible as possible but unfortunately, due to the conditions of some buildings this is not always feasible and we have to ensure that safety is paramount. If you would like any additional information regarding accessibility at your event, please contact us before you book your ticket.
  • Do I have to take part in something I don't wish to?
    No, we would never make you do / take part in anything you wouldn't want to do. This is your night, so please tell your host if there is something new you'd like to try!
  • Can I take pictures and videos?
    Yes, we recommend taking photos & videos during you vigils and free time, you never know what you might capture! However, please make sure you make your group are aware of this, just incase another client doesn't wish to be on film / photos. However LIVE videos at some of our events are not permitted, please contact us for more information.
  • Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
    If you are unable to attend and a friend or family member is taking your place. You must contact us to let us know & they must present your ticket upon entry.
  • If I cannot attend, can I move my event to another date?
    Your ticket is non-transferable. This is due to having a capacity limit for each event location.
  • What happens if I cannot attend my event?
    For any reason, you cannot attend you event. You must let us know by sending us an email or by messaging us via Facebook (please see contact page). Our team will have a guest list and will need to know if you are attending so they are not waiting for you.
  • Do I need to print my tickets prior to arrival?
    You are more than welcome to print your tickets to present upon entry. You can also present your ticket digitally via the PDF link in your order conformation.
  • Can I have a refund if I do not attend?
    Your ticket is non-refundable, this is due to demand of events. We cannot re-upload your ticket to our website if you cannot attend. If your event was to be cancelled by Afterlife and Spooky events, We will inform you via email & will issue a full refund within 7 working days.
